Employer Training Programmes are aimed at mature employees aged over 19 years.
Each programme includes a City & Guilds or Edexcel qualification (NVQ) in a vocational subject (retail, customer service, administration) and can be supplemented by refresher courses in English & Maths where appropriate.
The training takes place in the workplace as part of the normal working day with your job competence being assessed on a one-to-one basis by a CBE Training Consultant.
There is no classroom study and each programme takes about six months to complete.
Employees who undertake Basic Skills training as well receive extra, one-to-one help from a CBE Support Coach and may take a little longer.
